As a classically trained singer who has spent much of my career riding the fence between the worlds of Opera and American Musical Theater, I began this studio with the hope of helping the serious singer negotiate the border zone between these two seemingly different territories.
Whether you are a high school student trying to decide on the best college environment for you, or a music theater or opera professional looking to broaden your repertoire and technique, or a well trained singer being asked to perform outside your comfort zone, we try to provide you with the experiences you need.
I learned a long time ago that no one person can have all of the skills necessary to prepare a young artist. Therefore, I seek out professional collaboration with other artist/teachers in the voice, music, and drama disciplines.
